User Research Information

We'd Love to Hear from Panel Attorneys and their Billing Assistants!

Help us continue to improve CJA eVoucher in ways that best fit your needs. As a User Representative, you’ll become an important part of the eVoucher modernization effort.

Even if you don’t use eVoucher regularly, you can still sign up for a chance to participate in our research. As of March 2025, we're currently only recruiting for the Attorney User Representative group which includes attorneys and their billing assistants. If one of our studies is a good fit for you, we’ll get in touch with details and next steps.

Response requested by Friday, April 4.

What Does a User Representative Do?

It’s up to you. Representatives can choose the type of research studies they’re most interested in. We only ask that you participate in at least one study per year.

Here are a few ways to participate:

Online Sessions

If you’d like to speak to someone directly about your experience using eVoucher or Vendor Management System, you can sign up for an online interview. We may schedule a time for you to meet with one of our user experience researchers to discuss any pain-points, ideas or feedback you have about our tools.

Surveys

We may send you a link to a survey form to fill out and provide your feedback about CJA eVoucher or Vendor Management System. Simply submit and we’ll receive your information instantly.

Remote Usability Studies

If you want to try experimental features designed to help modernize eVoucher before they’re developed, we may ask you to join a usability study and tell us what you think about our prototypes.

When you sign up to join the User Representative Group, you will tell us a little about yourself and how you’d like to participate by filling out a questionnaire. If your profile fits one of our upcoming studies, we’ll send details about next steps.

Your participation and feedback will help us create a better version of eVoucher. For additional information, please check out our Frequently Asked Questions page.
